March 24 - I know I was planning on building a sink for my darkroom, but today when an opportunity came up to get one for free I couldnt pass it up. I just need to go pick it up sometime this week. Let's just say my budget for this darkroom kinda sucks. Actually I really dont have a budget of any kind. Right now all I want is to make it functional, whatever that takes. The money I save not having to build a sink will now go towards some drywall, which at about $6.50 for a 4'x8' sheet isnt too bad. I want to have an electrician come in to add some outlets, but until I can afford that Im just going to run a long extension cord with a multi plug surge protector. For water I can attach a hose from the washing machine hookup to the sink Im getting and use big buckets under the drain for when Im ready to dump chemicals. Go buy a cheap fold up table at Benny's or building #19 for my enlarger......so it's going to be a barebones darkroom for now....but I just want to make some prints. Im tired of waiting! I'll get it up and running and as I can I'll work on it. Gonna run down stairs and count how many sheets of drywall Im gonna need.......

........I'm back, I need 11 sheets of drywall to have my darkroom, about $80. Maybe I'll do half this week and half next week. I can do that.

We officially closed on this house last year on April 23rd. Im setting that as my date to be able to make my first print. Mark it down! Now Im going to bed.

March 22 - Been busy working on the darkroom, it's coming along slowly. Also spending a lot of time helping Stacey with her business. I've become the album designer which I actually enjoy. She has a new blog now, on which she just posted a new album that I designed recently for one of her clients. Enough work for today, now for some Chinese food and just watch some tv. The Celtics are on tonight.
