April 08

April 27 - I uploaded a short video of my darkroom on the update page. It's slow loading, but it will work if youre patient.

April 26 - I havent posted a new darkroom photo yet, only because it really looks the same as the previous photos. Lots of drywall everywhere. Spent time last night cutting smaller pieces to fill in the gaps up by the ceiling where the floor joists are, got about half of it done. Easy to do but tedious. I'll post an updated photo this weekend sometime. One thing I need for the darkroom is a pump of some kind for my sink drain as the drain is about 5 ft off the ground. Should be easy enough to find once Im ready to work on that part of the darkroom.

April 20 - Time goes by fast.....it's been 10 days since my last post. Several cookouts later and some more darkroom building done, I'll post a new pic of my progress soon. Still building the walls, but it almost looks like a room now. I think I'll be up and printing in a month or so, maybe a little more. All depends on how much time I have to work on it. We've sold our film scanner on ebay so now if I want to post any new work it's going to force me to make prints and to scan on the flatbed. Tonight the NBA playoffs start for the Celtics!!

April 10 - Had our first cookout of the season tonight. Was nice to sit outside, eatin burgers and drinkin beer. Planning on doing more work on the darkroom this weekend.

More from the files.....

April 6 - From the files.....

--------

April 5- As promised a darkroom update today. I just realized I need to rig up a light in there as it's getting dark as the walls go up. I never said I was a brain surgeon.........

half hour later.....after doing a bit more work in the darkroom, lets just say you probably wouldnt want me building an additon on your house. But who cares, it's gonna be dark there right? A little molding, a little paint and it will be perfect..........more pics to come.

......just added one more pic from today's darkroom work.

-----------

April 3 - Not much to say tonight. Work continues on the darkroom as I started putting in the drywall and will continue on it this coming weekend. I'll update my darkroom build page on Saturday. Also, Im gonna try and get out to shoot this weekend. Back to watching The Office.
